Kittle joked saying that “he considered retirement” after a memorandum was sent to the 32 NFL teams on Tuesday that seemed to prohibit the use of salts smell to the margin during the games.
However, the NFLPA sent a memorandum to its players on Wednesday saying otherwise.

The prohibition only prohibits team employees from distributing smell salts and other ammonia inhaling during the previous game, part -time or games on the side line or in the locker room.
“The NFL players association is aware of the memorandum issued by the League on Tuesday with respect to the use of smell salts and ammonia capsules,” reads the memorandum to the players, through NFL.com. “They did not notify us of this club change before the memorandum was sent. To clarify, this policy does not prohibit the use of these substances, but restricts clubs to provide or provide them in any way. The NFL has confirmed this to us.”

The NFL memorandum said the equipment is prohibited “to provide or supply ammonia in any way”, which includes ammonia capsules, inhalers, ammonia in a cup or any form of smell salts.
“In 2024, the FDA issued a warning to companies that produce commercially available ammonia (AIS), as well as consumers on the purchase and use of AIS, with respect to the lack of evidence that supports the security or efficacy of AIS marketed to improve the mental alert or impulse energy,” Lee Memo Lee Lead, pe -espn. “The FDA observed potential negative effects of the use of AI. After reading that first memorandum, Kittle believed that I could never use smell salts, which does regularly before entering offensive units for an additional energy impulse.
“Honestly, he has just arrived here to issue a complaint,” Kittle said as he crashed the interview of his 49ers teammate, Fred Warner, on NFL Network. “Our team received a memorandum today that smelling salts and ammonia packages became illegal in the NFL, and I have been distressed all day.
