The potential general selection No.1 in the next NFL draft, Shedeur Sanders, spoke with journalists on Friday at NFL Combine and did not lack trust.
Sanders, 23, said he knows that he can change a NFL franchise.
“We went from Jackson State to Colorado and we changed two consecutive programs. You do not think it could reach an NFL franchise and change a program again? Is history, it will always be repeated,” Sanders said.

“If you are not trying to change the franchise or culture, do not catch me. Therefore, you should know that the story is repeated again and again, and I have done it again and again, so it should not be doubt about why the NFL franchises should choose me.”
A key to making a franchise is a strong leadership, that the Colorado star marshal said it is his best feature.
“I would say that being a leader, that is my best feature in general, because everything is mental. Therefore, if I play my game from my neck, I could be able to adapt to my players, so that they have the relationship that they know each other to know me everything.
“That is why when I’m here interacting with people, I love interacting with people so that they can really know me and not just know clicks or something.”
Sanders stressed the importance of being in a strong mental head space in the field as well.

“It is extremely important to keep your mental in the best place because that is where my game is played. My game is not played from my legs and not even only in my arm. So I know that the longevity, the greats of all time. What is the best feature of Tom Brady? His mental one. He is able to think. So, if you have those features of greatness and I know where I am going to me, then why can I tell me, then, then, why can you do a franchise?
Many experts have said that the two best quarterbacks in this class, Sanders and Cam Ward in Miami, are not as good as quartbacks in the class last year.
The 2024 field marshal class included Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, Michael Penix Jr., JJ McCarthy and Bo Nix, and some of those quarters are immediately successful in their rookie season.
While it is possible that Sanders has not been selected in the class of last year, the offensive player of the year of Big 12 questioned those who do not see him as the best field marshal on Ward in the 2025 Draft class.

“When people say I am not one of the best quartbacks or the best field marshal, what are they coming out? Because I did it year after year after year, and you see the progression. Obviously, it has to be some type of external hatred you have for the family, for the last name, for anything, because I know that I have shown in the field.”
Last season with Colorado, Sanders launched for 4,314 yards and 37 touchdowns with 10 interceptions, helping to bring the buffalos to a 9-4 record and an appearance in the bowl game.

Sanders’s game is a great reason why the team improved to 9-4 after going 4-8 the previous season; Colorado was 1-11 the year before the Sanders family arrived.
There are some necessary field marshal teams at the top of the draft that could select Sanders or Ward. The Titans of Tennessee, the Cleveland Browns and the New York giants are restless in the field Marshal position and have the first three selections in the Draft.
Only time will say where Sanders ends, and if that franchise really changes.
