The Seattle Seahawks agreed to sign the Sam Darnold Marshal with a three -year contract, according to multiple reports. According to reports, the agreement is worth $ 100.5 million and includes $ 55 million guaranteed.
Darnold is the first important field marshal of the 2025 free agent class loaded with signing with a new team. Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are the other main passers -by that sign new agreements in this low season.

Darnold’s move to Seahawks occurs after a year of career with the Minnesota Vikings. He took the team to the playoffs and was considered a marginal MVP contender for much of the year. He launched for 4,319 yards and 35 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Seahawks begin a new era in quarterback after trade with Geno Smith last week.
Darnold will inherit an offensive support cast in Seattle that includes open receptors Jaxon Smith-Njigba, DK Metcalf, Kenneth Walker corridor and the closed wing Noah Fant. Smith used that talent to help Seattle to finish with a 10-7 record, but the playoffs were lost.
Now, Seattle expects Darnold to produce better results.
Meanwhile, the Vikings now have a Decision of Mariscal de Campo to take with Rodgers and Wilson still in the market, while discovering what to do with the 2024 JJ McCarthy on the list.
