As the four -time MVP field marshal, Aaron Rodgers, remains in the free agencies group, another potential option may have opened it in the NFL.
New Orleans Saints could be desperate for a veteran option in the position after the news that Derek Carr’s 20th season could be in danger due to a shoulder injury.
NFL Network reports that surgery could be an option for Carr, which “threatens its availability for this season.”

The injury was a theme in the second year of Carr in New Orleans last season, since seven games were lost last year due to a brain shock and a fractured hand.
Now, with their in danger, maybe the Saints could take advantage of Rodgers to see if the great easy is a place where he wanted to star next year.

As for the Saints, the absence of Car for the season would leave the position of Mariscal de Campo to Spencer Rattler or Jake Haener, while the depth table is read. Rattleler completed for Carr during his wounds last year, and did not work for the fifth round of 2024, since it was 0-6 in his six openings.
While Rodgers can be an option, the ninth general selection belongs to the Saints this year, and will be an interesting team to see. Could they advance over other teams necessary for the field marshal to catch their possible field marshal of the future?

It is worth noting that Carr only has one year left in his agreement with the Saints before becoming a free agent in 2027.
Rodgers, 41, comes from a failed mandate with the New York Jets, going 6-12 in his 18 openings with the team.
