According to the reports, the Nyheim Hins corridor is making his football return after not playing at the NFL in the last two seasons due to an injury suffered in a water motorcycle accident.
Hines, 28, reached an agreement on a contract with the Los Angeles Chargers, according to a ESPN report.
Hines broke an ACL in July 2023 when he was hit by a water motorcycle. Hines was with the Buffalo Bills and it was his best return of kick and clearing in the depth table at the time of the injury.

The former NC State star signed with the Cleveland Browns in the low season of 2024, but never played a game with the team due to ACL injury.
HIES has a uphill battle for a place on the list. It will compete with Haskins, Kimani Vidal and Jaret Patterson for a backup corridor position.
The two upper corridors in the depth table are established in front of Hines. The chargers selected Omarion Hampton with their first round selection in the NFL 2025 draft and signed the veteran corridor Najee Harris.

HIES also has 240 trapped for 1,778 yards and eight reception touchdowns while averaging 7.4 yards per reception.
In special teams, HIES has two clearing returns for touchdowns and two kicks of touchdowns kicks in his career.
