According to reports, the cause of death for former NFL Pro Bowl corner, Votee Davis, was undetermined more than a year after his death in a Florida house. I was 35 years old.

“Due to all the circumstances, including inconsistencies between the scene and the findings in the autopsy, the cause and the form of death in this case is better classified as indeterminate,” according to ESPN, which cited the report of the Broward County forensic doctor.

The report said Davis had abrasions near his right eye and a hemorrhage in his back muscles. A toxicology report also indicated that the old defensive had substances in its system, including amphetamines or methamphetamines.

The Miami Dolphins selected Davis in the first round of the 2009 draft. He was changed to the Indianapolis Colts before the start of the 2012 season, and had some excellent seasons with them.

He joined the Buffalo Bills after the 2017 season and only made an appearance for them, retiring in the middle of a game.

In 121 games, Davis had 22 interceptions and 395 tacle. He was named for the Pro Bowl while he was with the Colts in 2014 and 2015.

The former wing of the NFL star, Vernon Davis, Votee’s brother, launched a heartbreaking statement at the time of his death.

“This definitely surprised me. I just don’t know what to do with that,” Vernon told Daily Mail at that time. “I am leaning on detectives to solve it, but, at this time, we have no answers.
