The Cleveland Browns announced what Jersey numbers their rookie class and free agents will wear on Tuesday, and the Sheders Sanders shirt will not be the same number 2 you used in Colorado, since in its place it will use number 12.
Sanders wore the number 2 at the university, but the Browns signed the open receiver by Andre Carter in the free agency, and will use the number 2 for the Browns this season.
After an unprecedented and historical fall, Sanders was selected with the general selection 144 in the fifth round by the Browns.

The first round of the Browns, Mason Graham, has Jersey No. 94, while Sanders’ rookie field marshal, Dillon Gabriel, will use number 5, for now.
The Browns said the Jersey numbers are “subject to changes during the low season before the start of the 2025 season” in the announcement.

It remains to be seen if Sanders decides to keep the number 12 throughout the season, but it is the number with which his career will begin.
Sanders is one of the five Quarterbacks on the list, and the team does not have a clear holder. Deshaun Watson returned to rupting his Achilles tendon in January after he underwent surgery in that same tendon in October 2024, and his state for the next season is in doubt.

The Browns acquired Kenny Pickett in an exchange with the Philadelphia Eagles and signed Joe Flacco with a one -year contract before the NFL draft. With the additions of Gabriel and Sanders to a Quarterback room already full, it remains to be seen who will receive the assent of week 1.
