The Campo de los Minnesota Vikings Marshal, Carson Wentz, will make NFL history in the team’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Wentz, 32, will become the first player in the history of the League to start for six different teams in six consecutive seasons. In chronological order, Wentz has begun for Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Rams, Kansas City Chiefs and now the Vikings.
Wentz said his trip over the years has given him perspective.

“It sounds crazy when you say that,” Wentz said through athletics. “It has definitely given me a different perspective. Going from being a holder, exchanged, cut, being a backup behind some future field marshals of the Hall of Fame and seeing the things done (recently) on a really high level. That has given me a certain perspective. And also the perspective of not giving this for granted.”
The beginnings of Wentz with the Rams and the Chiefs arrived in week 18, when the two teams rested to their headlines before the playoffs. The last time Wentz began significant games was with the commanders in 2022.

Now ready to play in week 3, Wentz will start a game with some “real consequences.”
“It’s exciting for me,” Wentz said. “I’m not going to lie. They have spent a couple of years since I played in a game like this with real consequences.”

JJ McCarthy twisted the ankle in the defeat of the Vikings by 22-6 against the Atlanta Falcons in week 2 and, according to the reports, will lose two to four weeks.
The Vikings (1-1) will receive the Bengals (2-0) at the US Bank stadium on Sunday at 1 PM et for their confrontation of week 3.
