Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels’ return from a non-throwing shoulder injury didn’t last long as he exited Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.

As he ran to try to cover Van Ginkel, Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers shoved Daniels to the ground. The second-year quarterback tried to brace himself when he fell to the ground with his injured left shoulder. He was able to run off the field, but trainers immediately examined him.

Daniels was removed from the game in place of Marcus Mariota. He was listed as questionable to return.
