Howie Roseman not only knows how to evaluate talent, but also knows how to evaluate personalities.
Roseman, of course, built the Eagles of Philadelphia, winner of the Super Bowl, and is now widely considered one of the best general managers of the National Soccer League.
And although winning is the most important facet of a football team, Roseman has struggled to make sure that winning team is full of “really good people.”

In March, Roseman revealed one of his “treatment” when it comes to evaluating the players and taking them to Philadelphia.
“There are only objective things that I can’t even cancel … Violence against women. It is simply not for us. I wouldn’t even see them; I don’t even want to talk about it. It’s just a decisive factor for us,” Roseman told Todd McShay last month. “Then, I can’t go.
Roseman reflected on this evaluation process during its availability of media prior to the draft this week.

Draft Prospect of the NFL Abdul Carter fold in his favorite active player
“We have a process, we have an objective process that we use. We live in a country where you are innocent until it is demonstrated, so we try to fulfill the judicial process. But I think that in the details of what we do, that is part of our internal dynamics in which I probably did not want to enter,” said Roseman, through outkick.
“But we certainly try not to do it subjective, it is basically what I would say, [so we don’t] Enter a situation in which we really like a player [and] Make excuses for that player. So, we try to have objective criteria when it comes to the problems that ask me, but it is important for us, the people we bring in this building and that we know that we can win with really good people.
“We also know that young people make mistakes in other areas, but that was one that was in my heart when I was talking about that and something we believe as an organization.”
Of course, that does not mean that Roseman will not bring players with problems with problems: Jalen Carter was the ninth general selection for Philadelphia (they negotiated to achieve it) despite being involved in a street race that resulted in the death of his former teammate in Georgia and an university employee.
Carter was accused of driving recklessly and no contest was declared.

But, domestic violence is outside the limits, and although some of the best players in the game have previous problems, Roseman is not affecting a bit.
