The new open receiver of the Dallas Cowboys, George Pickens, blamed artificial intelligence for the critical comments of his former team that appeared on social networks during the weekend.

A screenshot of the supposed comments of an Instagram publication extended on X on Sunday. The comments took a chance in the organization of the Pittsburgh Steelers, calling them as “cheaper”, and pointing out that the team has changed to other open receptors before they can negotiate a new agreement with them.

But Pickens backed off the comments on a publication about his own Instagram stories, which has since been eliminated.

“Literally on a plane,” said his message. “There is no service. I just landed and see heterosexual lies of Pitt fans. Stop with AI trying to make a story. I am happy for everything that the city of steel did for me. Happy mother’s day to all mothers.”

It was a source of dismay for the Steelers towards the end of their career. He argued with fans, fought against a Cleveland Browns player and Mike Tomlin called for multiple infractions during a game. He also congratulated the protagonists of Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, in front of Netflix transmission cameras at a strange moment after the loss of Pittsburgh Christmas Day.

He had 59 trapped for 900 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games for Steelers in 2024.

The general manager of the Steelers, Omar Khan, talked about the movement on Friday.

“I would not use the word disappointment,” he said, through Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “We had three years with George. We had some exciting moments. It was the time. The new beginning for both sides was the right thing.”
