“No, absolutely not,” Jones told reporters after the team’s joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday. “A large part of that is your decision. How would that know? No, but I am urgent.”

Jones said he has not spoken with Parsons since the star made a commercial application, but Jones said he stays “urgent.” Jones has remained firm in his praise to Parsons after his commercial application.

“I think Micah’s world,” Jones said. “Como he dicho, he tenido tiempo social con Micah, que no siempre es el caso, pero lo he hecho. Es una de las personas más brillantes que he estado con la que he estado, y es muy, muy talentoso. Ahora, cómo finalmente (mezclarlo) con nuestro futuro es un desafío, y estoy construido para ello, está construido para ello”.

Parsons has still attended the practice and attended meetings while contract conversations continue stagnant.

If Parsons does not play week 1, it would be a great blow to the defense of the team. It has been one of the main passengers since it was selected 12th General Selection in the NFL 2021 Draft outside Penn State.

Parsons has done the pro Bowl in the four seasons of his career.

In 63 career games, Parsons has 52½ catches with 172 solo cups and nine forced loose balls. Last season, Parsons had 12 catches in 13 games.
