The Dallas Cowboys acquired Joe Milton from the New England patriots in the low season to add more depth behind the Dak Prescott Field Marshal for the 2025 season.
Milton spoke brilliantly about his new cowboys teammates and hit the patriots wardrobe in the process. New England selected Milton in the sixth round of the NFL 2024 draft, and was in a field marshal with Drake Maye and Jacoby Brissett last season. Jerod Mayo was the head of the Patriots last season.

Milton only appeared in a game for the Patriots last season.
He had 22 of 29 with 241 air yards and a touchdown pass. It is considered to have a massive potential, if you ever have an opportunity to become a holder in the NFL.
It is projected that Milton will be the backup field marshal that goes to the regular season behind Prescott. Will Grier is slotted in QB3.

Prescott will seek to stay healthy for Dallas. He only managed to play in eight games in 2024.
