The former NFL chief coach Jon Gruden has football stories for days, especially when it comes to field marshals.
During the last episode of his “Gruden QB class” in Barstool sports, the former coach spoke with the 2025 NFL draft leaflet, Seth Henigan from Memphis, when he brought a play during his career while facing Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts.
Gruden’s team, although he did not specify what team was at that time, called a total bombing in Manning and the Colts. But sending the house was not going to throw one of the most clear quarters of all time.

“When they start bombarding us, that would be the last time they do,” Gruden told Henigan. “I did Peyton Manning. We called a total bombardment against Peyton Manning. He saw it, showed a hand signal, TouchDown.”
While Gruden watched the Colts score, he said that Manning made sure to rub it.

“Do you know what he did after he did? He ran right next to him, and he says: ‘Are you out of your mind?’ I swear he did that. “
Manning was known for his ability to read the defenses before complement, making the necessary adjustments with his offensive line and receivers to obtain positive yards.
And Gruden was not the only chief coach who saw Manning dissect his team so precision that a touchdown was the final result.
Manning is twice Super Bowl champion, one with the colts in 2007 and another with the Denver Broncos in 2016. It is also third place in aerial yards (71,940) during his career in the Hall of Fame.
Henigan expects his NFL career to be remotely close to Manning while looking towards the NFL draft.
The 6 -feet signal call 3 and 215 pounds only hopes to be recruited, and probably have a lot of work to do to decipher a list of 53 men before the 2025 campaign.
Henigan was a productive field marshal during his time in Memphis, a four -year headline who established a school record and tied a AAC record with 104 TouchDowns in his career.

Lance Zierlein de NFL.com said Henigan is someone who can read his progressions quickly and “rises under pressure and spots.” However, their physical features are not as elite as other field marshal perspectives in the draft, and sometimes he hastened their decisions.
