All eyes will be in “America’s Game of the Week” in Fox this Sunday when the Dallas Cowboys receive the Green Bay Packers, marking the return of Micah Parsons to the AT&T stadium for the first time since they exchanged.
Instead of helping the cowboys win, Parsons will have the task of chasing the Dak Prescott field. And although he admits that it will not be emotionally easy, he is ready for the challenge.
“It’s going to be painful,” Parsons said about the opportunity to fire Prescott. “That is my boy. It was always like a good mentor for me. But you know how it is. He always told me that if I ever faced that it will be a great confrontation, so I’m excited to see what he brings on Sunday.”

Despite national attention around his return home, Parsons insists that he is approaching like any other game.
“I accepted my destiny weeks when the exchange occurred,” he said. “So, for me, it’s about playing another game and doing what I do better, and that is a disruptive soccer player. I think the media and fans are trying to fly it as a great thing. But I see it as one more game in AT&T.”
The owner of the cowboys, Jerry Jones, says that Micah Parsons will not receive a video tribute while the Packers are going to Dallas in week 4
Trade dominated the headlines when it fell only a few days before the start of the season. Many expected Parsons would sign a long -term extension with Dallas, but the owner Jerry Jones finally honored his commercial application. Green Bay acquired Parsons in exchange for first round selections in the drafts of NFL 2026 and 2027, plus the Kenny Clark defensive Tackle.
The Packers quickly turned Parsons into a quarter of the NFL history with a four -year contract, according to the reports, valued $ 188 million and $ 136 million guaranteed.

Through three games, the movement has raised questions for Dallas. The defense of the cowboys has hesitated, and almost began 0-3 if it were not for the field goal of more than 60 yards of Brandon Aubrey that forced the extra time against the giants in week 2, where Aubrey later won it. Dallas is 1-2 after the defeat last week against the Bears.
Meanwhile, Green Bay is 2-1 despite a surprising loss in Cleveland. Parsons has counted 1.5 captures and five tacle combined so far, continuing anchoring a strong defensive front.
“In addition to fans, only teammates, support staff, I mean, made this transition so big and I am extremely honored and blessed to be with such a good group of boys who want to win and who just want to play football,” Parsons said. “I think we have been playing football very well so far, so that helps, and I just hope we continue.”

For Parsons, it can be just another game. For the cowboys and their fans, it is the return of a star who grew up dreaming of using the star and became four times Pro Bowler in Dallas. The start is scheduled for 4:25 pm et on Sunday.
