Tommy Devito was renounced by New York giants on Tuesday, but fans the fans quickly found a new home.
Devito, 27, was claimed by the exemptions on Wednesday by the New England patriots. It will be placed as the third rope field marshal behind the opener Drake Maye and the back of Josh Dobbs.
Devito became the strange man with the giants as the fourth field marshal on the list after the team reviewed his field marshal room in the low season. The giants signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in the free agency and negotiated with the draft of Jaxson Dart in the first round of the NFL 2025 draft.

Devito has started eight games and appeared in 12 during his two -year career. In 2023, it was 3-3 and completed 64% of its passes for 1,101 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions and was pushed to the National Attention Center as “Tommy Chop.”
Last season, Devito started two games but fought. The north of the northern New Jersey completed 70.5% of its passes for 257 yards without touchdowns and without interceptions.

Devito played well in the preseason, especially against the Patriots. In the 42-10 victory of the Giants over New England, he completed 17 of 20 passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns.
In three preseason games, Devito completed 30 of 38 passes for 323 yards with four touchdowns and an interception.

“Just strengthen the list, certainly, in a premium position and continue adding pieces, either offensively, to the defensive or the types we feel they can help us in special equipment,” said Patriots coach Mike Vrabel on Wednesday.
Vrababe also acknowledged that having vice president of the personnel of players Ryan Cowden, who was previously an advisor to the general manager of the giants, was beneficial to provide information about Devitus.
