The former NFL supporter Jim Fahnhors, a member of three Super Bowl winning teams during his firm career with the San Francisco 49ers, died on Wednesday. I was 66 years old.
The 49ers announced Fahnhors’s death on Thursday, saying that the franchise was “deeply sad for death.”
Fahnhorst registered 232 cup and seven interceptions in 82 games in seven seasons with the 49ers. He was in the initial alignment for 39 of those games.

For four seasons, Keith Fahnhorst formed a formidable duo with his younger brother, Jim. The old Fahnhorsst was an offensive liner of the 49ers from 1974 to 1987. Keith spent 14 seasons with the 49ers.
He died in 2018. Keith was also 66 years old at the time of his death.

The Fahnhorst brothers spent their university football days playing for the Golden GoPhers of Minnesota. Jim was named for the All-Big Ten team of the first team in 1981.

He was finally selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round of the 1982 NFL Draft. He never took the field with a Vikings uniform.
He later played two years at the USFL for two teams before joining his brother and 49ers.

In 2018, Fahnhorst reflected on its transfer to San Francisco while the 49ers training camp was underway, telling the official website of the team that the decision was an “obvious”.
