It is expected that multiple changes of NFL rules announced on Tuesday alter the way the games are played.
Last year, NFL owners approved a drastic change at the beginning. This next season, the teams will be further encouraged to avoid touchbacks.
If a ball does not land in the return area, a new rule approved by the owners of the NFL team means that a touchback will result in the ball is placed in the 35 -yard line.
Rich McKay, president of the Competition Committee of the NFL and CEO of Atlanta Falcons, said that the league projects that the change of output kick rule would result in a considerable increase in kicks of kicks in the future.
