Trey Hendrickson is more than open to staying in Cincinnati, but it seems that the Bengals are forcing him to go around the door.
The edge corridor, who led the NFL in captures last season, has recently criticized his organization, but the scathing statement he launched on Monday took a look behind the curtain.
In March, the Bengals gave Hendrickson permission to find an exchange; Last month, he said that their communication had been “poor.”

Well, that communication has apparently stopped, according to Hendrickson.
“There has been no communication between my camp and the draft of the organization,” Hendrickson said in a statement.
“The offers prior to the Draft did not reflect the vision that we shared and the low season was promised if they continued to play at a high level. The coaches are aware of these past conversations. Instead of using collaboration to take us to a point to take home to the team, they are no longer communicated. I have been anxious for a resolution of this situation, but that is difficult to do so when it is not an obvious discussion and a lack of interest in the lack of interest.

Hendrickson finished each of the last two seasons with 17.5 captures. He is entering the last year of his contract.
“We have no desire to be the best payment or, you know, first in line,” Hendrickson said last month. “I will not enter all the details, but, as, there are things that I am willing to do and willing not to move. I do not think I want to play for incentives that will be out of my control. I do not think I want to play (in a) short -term contract … I would like to tell my wife:” This is where we are going to live. Here is where we are going to build a family together. “You know?”
Hendrickson turned 30 in December, has been with Cincinnati since 2021 and has been an absolute robbery for them. He spent his first four seasons with the Santos de New Orleans But he could not obtain numbers until his last season there, registering a record of his career at the time of 13.5 captures after only 6.5 in his first three seasons of the NFL.

Since the Bengals acquired it, he has published at least 14 captures in three of his four seasons. He has also done the Pro Bowl every season as a Bengal.
