Minnesota Vikings keep one of their own free agents on the list on a day when tons of NFL offers and trades fell.
The veteran corridor Aaron Jones will not establish the market as the last season did after he agreed in a new agreement with the Vikings, who announced the move on Sunday.
According to the reports, the new Jones agreement is worth $ 20 million in the next two seasons.

Jones had signed a $ 7 million contract to join the Vikings, whom he knew as his NFC North rival during his time with the Green Bay Packers.
Ties with the Packers were cut after rejecting a salary cut in the low season.
Now, chief coach Kevin O’Connell had the initial vision of Jones’ firm as a veteran who could lead a setback scheme in his backfield. Jones, 30, had an injury history, including six lost games in 2023, so having the options there was thought.

However, Jones quickly showed O’Connell that he still deserves most of the touches of the lion after he ran for 1,138 yards in 255 haunts with five touchdowns while transporting 51 passes for 408 yards and two scores.
The 1,546 yards of scrimmage were their best total since its 2019 campaign, where it had 1,558 yards and 19 total touchdowns to lead the NFL with the Packers.

Jones played a vital role in an offensive of the high octane Vikings that also saw Sam Darnold, a field marshal of an officer at that time of his career, illuminated the score thanks to the game action playing an important role in the pass game.
As NFL fans know, a good game action is as good as a productive career game.
Seeing Jones’ success in the field, the Vikings did not waste their time keeping it in their place while entering the 2025 season trying to answer the field of Mariscal de Campo.
Recent reports are not expected to indicate that Vikings and Darnold reach an agreement despite the campaign to alter their career that has just been in Minnesota. The team still has the first round of 2024 JJ McCarthy in the depth table, and Daniel Jones, who was released by the New York giants two years after signing an extension of four years, joined the team and could return to provide veteran competition.

But there is no concern of who will take hauling who begins under the center of the Vikings in 2025, since Jones will lead the way once more.
