Senator Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican, had indicated words for the NFL at the beginning of the “Campo de Corrientes” of the Senate Committee on Tuesday.
Cruz suggested that the NFL has approached the 1961 Sports Transmission Law, which was established to prevent the Professional League from infringing the schedules of the Secondary and University Soccer Games.

The NFL is technically prohibited from the transmission games on Friday night until Saturday, from the second weekend of September to the second weekend of December, according to Pro Football Talk.
Cruz made him a concern that the League has been able to transmit Black Friday games in the last two years.
“A growing concern is that the NFL has used its special exemption in the SBA for the frustration of university soccer schedules and high school,” he said. “For example, the SBA explicitly excludes antitrust protection for the NFL if it transmits a game on Friday night or on a Saturday between mid -September and mid -December. That is to protect the interests of secondary school football and university, and ultimately, their fans, which are undoubtedly also followers of the NFL.
