The impulse of Tush survived for at least one more season, since the owners of the NFL voted against a proposal that would have effectively forbidden the play by 2025 and beyond.

Eagles star Saquon Barkley had a message for those teams, and everyone else, who opposed the work.
“I think it’s soft, to be honest,” he said in the podcast “exciting Mic” with his teammates Cooper leave and Reed Blankenship before the vote occurred. “Everyone can do it. It is not a play that we can only do. We have one of the best and largest lines of O, and Jalen Hurts can put on 600 pounds squatting. That is not guilt.

“Josh Allen is super big, he is not successful with that. Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks of all time, they are not successful with that. Therefore, it is not something that everyone cannot do.
Barkley also retreated the statement that the play is a risk to the safety of players.

The proposal to change the official rule of the Packers would have prohibited “an offensive player to push a teammate who was aligned directly behind the Pargo and receives the click immediately in the click.” The proposal added that a penalty would be evaluated in any offensive player who violated the rule.
