NHA imposes a toll tax increase for the second time this year

The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced a second tax increase in tolls on national roads and highways, with the new rates established as of April 1.

According to an official notification, car toll charges will be RS. 70, RS vans. 150, and RS buses. 250. Trucks of two and three axes will be loaded with RS. 300, while the largest trucks will pay RS. 550.

Significant increases have been applied to several important highways, including M1, M3, M4, M5, M14 and E35. The toll for cars on the M1 highway Islamabad-Peshawar has increased from RS. 500 A RS. 550. On the M3 lahore-Abdul Hakeem highway, the rate has increased from RS. 700 to RS. 800.

Similarly, cars tolls on route M4 Pindi Bhattian-Fafaisalabad-Multan have increased from RS. 950 to RS. 1,050, while those of the M5 Fullan-Sukkur highway have risen from RS. 1,100 to RS. 1,200.

The M14 Dera Ismail Khan-Hakla highway now charges RS. 650 for cars, instead of RS. 600. The toll for cars on route E35 Hasan Abdal-Havelian-Mansehra has increased from RS. 250 to RS. 300.

For larger vehicles, toll rates on these highways now vary from RS. 850 to RS. 5,750.
