Florida’s Sergei Bobrovsky watched a fight develop between his teammates and Sharks players on the other side of the ice and skated down to throw a handball at San Jose’s Alex Nedeljkovic. Fans in Sunrise, Florida, changed “Bobby! Bobby!” when the fight began to take shape.

The place went crazy. It didn’t seem like any of the punches that were thrown landed. Bobrovsky finally fell to the ice when Nedeljkovic pinned him.

San Jose finally earned a 4-1 victory. Nedeljkovic made 35 saves in the victory.

“We’re starting to learn how we should play,” Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky said, via NHL.com. “We’re not going to tiptoe into a game. We’ve got to attack, we’ve got to go forward, and we’re a good hockey team. That was really the message, and the guys did that from the get-go.”

Will Smith, Vincent Desharnais and Mario Ferraro each scored in the second period to push the Sharks over the top.

San Jose’s victory ruined the return of Matthew Tkachuk, who had been out of action since Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. He skated for almost 21 minutes and took three shots on goal.
