The funny car driver of the Hot Rod National Association (NHRA), Ron Capps, was involved in a terrifying accident during Arizona’s nationals on Sunday.
The Capps vehicle quickly left the starting line and in the blink of an eye, the upper part of its car exploded. He got into the dividing line and towards the wall of the left guard. Capps was able to leave his vehicle under his own power.
