Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner’s son, Nick Reiner, who is currently being held in a Los Angeles prison, appears to be no stranger to police as he has a history of complaints over the years.
In the wake of the murder of the famous director and his wife and the accusation against their son, the police have revealed a series of reports about the couple who approached them.
Police records suggest the family made at least five calls to Los Angeles police in the past six years, in 2013, 2014, 2017 and twice in 2019. The sixth and most recent call was on December 14, when police discovered the When Harry met Sally The director and the bodies of his wife in their Brentwood home.
According to a law enforcement source, the Reiners asked for help regarding mental health emergencies, threats of violence and assault, according to a daily mail report.
It was previously reported that Nick had a diagnosis of schizophrenia and after his time in rehab, he moved in with his parents, where he continued to struggle to stay away from drugs, but his parents did everything they could to help him.
