Nicole Kidman is surprised by the turn of the events in the midst of her separation with Kieth Urban.
According to reports, the actress, who has been married to Urban for more than a decade, is devastated when the couple announces the separation.
A source tells People: “Nicole is injured and feels betrayed.”
Another adds: “It is devastating for her. It is shocked.”
The source adds that Kidman never wanted this and “has been fighting to save the marriage.”
This occurs months after a fir touched Kidman’s relationship with his teenage children.
“Nicole lives full time in Nashville. He loves the community and a group of friends she has built, and is the perfect place to raise her children.”
A source also reveals that both the actress and Urban have been divided for a while.
“Their lives moved in different directions, and once they silently established their own place, it seemed that the writing was on the wall.”
“It really has not been a secret in their circles that Keith and Nicole have been living separately for a while,” added the source. “The people close to Keith felt that the division was a bit inevitable.”
