Nine people have died as a result of heavy monsoon rains, which have caused sudden floods, landslides and urban floods in Pakistan.
Two children and a woman were killed in Kasur due to electrocution, while other deaths were reported by rays and floods, Express news reported.
The Department of Meteorology of Pakistan (PMD) has issued a maximum alert for several regions, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala and parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan.
Heavy rains are expected to continue until July 11, with sudden floods in advance in Nullah and local streams.

The authorities have urged residents to avoid traveling in affected areas and remain attentive.
Rescue teams have mobilized to help those affected by floods, and the public has been advised to remain as possible.
The government is closely monitoring the situation as the monsoon season persists, and more rains are expected in the next few days.
