Pakistani security forces killed nine militants in an intelligence -based operation in the Takwara area of ​​Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday night, the military media wing said Monday.

According to public relations between services (ISPR), among those killed there were several terrorists, including Shireen, a high value and high value ring objective, which was sought for its participation in multiple terrorist attacks.

Shireen had also been involved in the target murder of civilians and was responsible for the martyrdom of Captain Hasnain Akhtar.

The army said the troops launched the raid based on confirmed intelligence with respect to the presence of militants in the area. A fierce fire exchange followed, in which the militants were “sent to hell,” the statement added.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site.

Disinfecting operations are ongoing in the surrounding areas to ensure that there are no other militants, the ISPR said, reaffirming Pakistan’s determination to eliminate terrorism from their soil.

Last week, security forces killed six terrorists in an intelligence -based operation (IBO) in the Kalat district in Baluchistan.

The military media affairs wing said the security forces made an Ibo in Kalat, Baluchistan, about the reported presence of terrorists.

“During the performance of the operation, the troops themselves effectively compromised the location of the terrorists and after an intense fire exchange, six terrorists were successfully neutralized,” said the ISPR statement.

He pointed out that the murdered terrorists remained actively involved in “recent terrorist activities” in the area against the agencies of application of the law, as well as in innocent civilians.
