The security forces killed nine terrorists backed by India in three separate operations in the districts of Dera Ismail Khan, Tank and Khyber of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), said public relations between services (ISPR) in a statement on Sunday.
According to the ISPR, the Army media wing, the Khwarij, a term used for the forbidden Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan, were killed at night between Saturday and Sunday. He said that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists sponsored by India killed.
“The security forces in the district of Dera Ismail Khan carried out an intelligence -based operation, in the reported presence of Khwarij sponsored by India. During the behavior of the operation, the own troops themselves actually involved the location of Khwarij, and after an intense fire exchange, four khwarij sponsored by India were sent to hell,” the ISPR established.
Another intelligence -based operation was carried out in the tanks district and in the exchange of fires that followed, two more sponsored by the Khwarij Indians were sent to hell by the security forces. According to the ISPR statement, disinfection operations were being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist in the area. “Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism sponsored by the country,” he added.
President Asif Zardari praised the security forces for his courage to kill nine terrorists sponsored by the Indians in three separate operations in KP. He appreciated the successful operations of security forces to eliminate terrorists supported by India.
The president said the security forces would continue to operate until the terrorists were completely eliminated. “Our resolution to eliminate terrorist elements and defend the country remains unwavering,” he said, reiterating the national resolution to completely eliminate “Fitnat-Ul-Khawarij”.
