- The Ninja Crispi Pro glass fryer is now available in the UK for £249
- It is a countertop version of the portable Ninja Crispi with additional features
- These include new cooking modes Prove, Broil and Dehydrate.
Ninja just launched a new extra-large version of its portable glass fryer, the Ninja Crispi. Unlike the original Crispi, which was a portable fryer for use on the go (in the office, a hotel room, or anywhere else with an outlet), the new Ninja Crispi Pro lives in your kitchen, where you can cook family meals. You can even use it to prepare a full Sunday roast without an oven.
Ninja is known for making some of the best air fryers out there, including the top-rated Ninja Double Stack, and the Crispi Pro is another winner. It received four and a half stars out of a near-perfect five from our reviewer Karen Freeman when it launched in the US thanks to its “quick, efficient cooking” that left vegetables tender and fries crispy.
“I made a dozen different foods, using all different cooking modes, and everything I made came out delicious,” Karen wrote in her Ninja Crispi Pro review.
Like the original Crispi, the Crispi Pro cooks food in non-toxic glass containers. They have removable lids, so you can also use them to store food before cooking and serve it once ready. The fryer comes in two containers as standard (5.7 liters and 2.3 liters), so you can cook and brown different portions, and other sizes are available to purchase separately.
The glassware is also dishwasher safe, which is another feature our reviewer especially appreciated, “so you know they’re totally clean,” and has heat-resistant handles so you can safely move them as soon as you’re done cooking.
The Ninja Crispi Pro has three new cooking modes that you won’t find on the original Crispi. These include the Prove setting, which provides gentle heat to proof bread without deactivating the yeast, Broil, which you can use to cook a whole chicken, and Dehydrate for drying fruit or making jerky.
The Crispi Pro is on sale now direct from Ninja for £249, in three colorways Cyberspace, Pink and Bone, with more options coming soon to suit your kitchen.
