The Nintendo Switch 2 has officially revealed itself, and although the console could be compatible with previous versions, we have now learned that a ton of original switch games will have compatibility problems.
After Nintendo Switch 2 Direct yesterday, the company published two lists that contain 122 games that will not be executed correctly on the Switch 2. The first is for games with “starting problems”, while the second lists that start but have some “compatibility problems in the game.”
There are no details about the specific problems that each game has, but Nintendo points out that they are “being investigated.”
Games that have starting problems include tastes of Fortnitewhich is also obtaining a switch 2 port, Fall Guys, War frameand Rocket Leaguewhile titles like Alan Wake remastered, Alien insulationand Overcooked! Everything you can eat have compatibility problems.
“Nintendo 2 system hardware is different from Nintendo Switch, and some Nintendo Switch games may not be compatible or totally compatible with Nintendo Switch 2,” explains the company.
