Another Top 10 fight on Saturday night was a defensive presentation, but this time, it was the road team that did, since No. 9 LSU won a 17-10 victory over No. 4 Clemson in South Carolina.
The offensive was not easy in this, since there were four clearings, a loose ball and two field goals in the first seven units. At the end of the second half, Clemson found a rhythm and made a 13 plays trip that ended in the first touchdown of the game. LSU responded with their own healthy impulse, but they lost a loose ball in 4th and 2 from inside the red zone just before the end of half.
Clemson lost a field goal on his first trip out of the middle, and LSU responded with a touchdown to tie things at 10. The impulse seemed to be in the hands of LSU, since they eliminated Cade Klubnik and Garrett Nussmeier found Zavion Thomas for a score.
However, Thomas did not maintain control through capture, and regulated incomplete. Almost immediately, Damian Ramos withdrew an attempted 46 -yard field goal.

But LSU forced three and outside, and took advantage of a TouchDown unit that ended in Nussmeier finding Trey’dez Green for the main score with 12:18 remaining in the game.
Clemson’s offensive continued to stop, since they turned the ball to the bass with approximately nine minutes to the end, but they had another chance with 4:26 for the end. However, each of the first two Klubnik passes fell incomplete, and a false beginning supported them even more, forcing them to kick.
Clemson’s defense forced three and leaving, giving Clemson a further shot with 1:46 to go in his own 43 and a waiting time.

They quickly entered the red zone, but on 4 and 4, LSU forced Klubnik to shorten their release in a launch, preserving their 17-10 victory.
Nussmeier impressed starting his second year as a starter, completing 28 of his 38 passes for 230 yards.
Klubnik was 19 of 38 for 230 yards, and his career was non -existent. The main Adam Randall corridor had only 16 yards in five haules, although one of them was a touchdown.
