Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was informed on Thursday that, as a result of the dedicated anti-political campaigns at the national level, a single case of polio in the country had not been informed since February 10.

By chairing the review meeting on the eradication of polyomyelitis, the prime minister praised the efforts of relevant government institutions, international organizations and partners to be released from Pakistan.

He directed the relevant authorities to guarantee the conscience and mobilization of the community with respect to the anti-political campaign throughout the country.

“You must ensure that each child under five years of age is given the polyomyelitis vaccine during the anti-political campaign from April 21,” he added.

He stressed that, together with the campaign, the immunization of national routine for protection against other dangerous diseases must also be fully guaranteed.

“Despite the challenging conditions, the workers who participate in the anti-political campaign are playing a frontline role in the fight against this disease,” said Prime Minister Shehbaz, added that the entire nation, including himself, was proud of the workers of the workers.

During the meeting, the prime minister received information about the next campaign against the polio from April 21 to 27, during which the polyomyelitis vaccine will be administered.

A total of 415,000 polio workers will participate in this campaign nationwide. The meeting was also reported that, according to Prime Minister’s instructions, the validation of the third -party campaign will be completed from April 28 to April 30.
