Islamabad: The president of the Senate, Yousaf Raza Gilani, expressed the disappointment for the failure to produce Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) senator despite the repeated production orders.

In front of the chamber session, the president of the Senate ruled that such parliamentary authority cannot be allowed to persist without control, received by a blow of the legislators.

Gilani had issued production orders for two Senators of PTI, Chaudhry and Aon Abbas Buppi, a day before, but the authorities only produced Bappi, who was recently arrested.

In his speech to the Senate, Bappi expressed his gratitude to the President for issuing his production order. He revealed that at 8 am, around 20 people entered his house, raided his factory and harassed him.

He informed the house that some people entered his room during the operation, attacked him and demanded his mobile phone.

He was then presented to a judge, who asked about the charges against him. Bappi said he was accused of hunting five deer.

Expressing his disappointment, he said that, instead of feeling relieved to be presented in the Senate, he was more dismayed because Senator Chaudhry had not yet been taken to the camera despite the production order.

He regretted that the president’s orders had been ignored once again, claiming that his own production order was applied simply to placate Gilani, since the authorities feared that he would not preside over the session in another way.

Bappi further demanded the cancellation of his production order, saying his desire to return to prison. He averaged not to attend the procedures unless Chaudhry was also taken before the Senate, and added that he would only seek liberation through adequate legal channels.

When PTI’s senator tried to leave after concluding his speech, President Gilani stopped him and issued the ruling.
