ISLAMABAD:
Amid political speculation sparked by his earlier comments on PTI founder Imran Khan’s alleged refusal to accept a “deal”, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Friday clarified that his comments had been made in a specific context relating to the November 24 protest.
Speaking during a private television programme, Sanaullah said his statement referred only to the PTI founder’s position during the protest episode and did not refer to any secret reconciliation or political agreement.
He said at the time that Imran Khan had been unwilling to back down from his stance on the protest.
