Islamabad:
The Minister of Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, assured the Senate on Friday that the toll tax would not be collected in an incomplete section of Rajalasti to Uurkot from the Mirpurkhas-Khokhrapar road.
Responding to a notice of attention raised by Senator Ponjo, the minister emphasized that collecting a toll on an unfinished path was not justified. “If a toll is collected within the incomplete section, I will make sure its immediate elimination,” he said.
Aleem Khan clarified that the 154 -kilometer road falls under the jurisdiction of the NHA and has faced multiple delays due to legal disputes.
