ISLAMABAD:
None of the party leaders, lawyers or family members visited PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail on Thursday.
This was the first time in Imran Khan’s one and a half year of imprisonment that no one came to visit him on the scheduled ‘visiting day’.
Meanwhile, the negotiating committee was awaiting permission from the prison administration to meet with the party founder. Imran Khan’s lawyer questioned how the negotiating committee could visit the prison without formal approval.
Sources in Adiala Jail stated that no special permission is required to meet Imran Khan on the designated visiting days – Tuesday and Thursday.
