Non-bailable guarantees issued for former CM Gandapur

ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad District and Sessions Court on Tuesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants against former Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur in an audio leak case, directing police to arrest him and produce him before the court.

The measure comes after his absence from the hearing, which also led the court to begin efforts to declare him a fugitive.

The case was heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Nasruminullah Baloch in the District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad. During the proceedings, a co-defendant named in the case appeared in court.
