NordvPN has just announced that one of its characteristics is killing due to the lack of use.
Meshnet is established to suspend from December 1, which means that all the functionality associated with it will be eliminated.
Qualified as the best Techradar VPN, Nordvpn, launched Meshnet in 2022 to give its users a new and safe way to connect multiple devices to safely share files, multiplayer games or remote work collaboratively. A tool, however, that never accelerated among the Nordvpn community.
Say goodbye to meshnet
“When we built Meshnet, our goal was to give users more control over their connections and networks. By offering it as a free complement to the Nordvpn central service, we hope it became a valuable part of their online experience. But sometimes even good ideas do not reach a sufficiently wide audience,” Nordvpn wrote in an official announcement.
Discontinuar Meshnet, explains the supplier, will release significant resources that the equipment could use to focus on improving what matters to most Nordvpn users, namely, faster speeds, stronger security and smarter VPN characteristics.
That is why as of December, Meshnet and its functionalities will close forever. These include options such as device link, traffic routing through other personal mesh devices and networks.
The supplier ensures that the Virtual Private Network Service (VPN) continues to function as usual, with the change that only affects the characteristics linked to Meshnet.
Find a meshnet alternative
If you are one of the few people who have been enjoying the Nordvpn meshnet, now it is a good time to look for alternatives.
The supplier recommends that anyone who used Meshnet for safe files changes to Nordlocker. We also suggest investigating Proton Drive, since it comes with free and paid plans.
