NORDVPN has just presented a long -awaited update for all Linux users, a complete user (GUI) user interface for its VPN client.
The updated VPN Linux application makes privacy more accessible to the Linux community, thanks to the rich visual elements that promise to relieve the use of advanced characteristics.
“This launch is a natural progression of our mission to make cybersecurity accessible and without problems for everyone. Whether it is an experienced Linux or new user in the operating system, we believe that this GUI will improve its Nordvpn experience,” said Nordvpn CTO, Marijus Briedis.

Briedis explains that the New Gui provides the simplicity of other Nordvpn applications to Linux for the first time, all while preserving the reliability, speed and security that users expect from one of the best VPN suppliers in the market.
This means that everyone who uses a Distro Linux or Linux desktop device can now enjoy all the features offered by Nordvpn, including threat protection, double VPN and a murder switch, within a couple of clicks, it doesn’t matter if it is a VPN Pro or beginner.
Nordvpn’s VPN Gui Linux is not a new application, explains the supplier, but a significant update of its Cli -based experienced software.
However, it is important to keep in mind that at the time of writing, the Nordvpn meshnet and some other features remain accessible only through the cli -based version, which continues to be compatible in its entirety.

NORDVPN joins other popular suppliers that offer a complete gui for their VPN client. These include Surfshark, which launched its Linux VPN GUI in 2022, Expressvpn, which offers this function since March this year and private Internet access (PIA).
How to Update to the NordvPN Gui Linux application
NordvPN promises a quick installation that should be familiar to all who have installed the CLI version before. The steps are the same, in fact, except for an adjustment.

While the GUI is now available through the deb and RPM packages, the supplier ensures that an SNAP version will soon come.
