Everyone get ready to watch Taylor Swift break another streaming record, because two new projects are coming to Disney+ this Friday, December 12.
In addition to The Tour of Eras | The final showwhich documents the final Eras Tour show that took place in Vancouver last year, there is also Taylor Swift | The Tour of Eras | The end of an era to look forward.
What you need to know about Taylor Swift’s latest show and docuseries Eras
Look
It’s safe to say that The end of an era It is not going to be a complete exposition of anything or anyone. As you’ll know if you’ve seen Swift’s. Folklore documentary (FYI, it’s also on Disney+), expensive documentaries produced by big-name pop stars don’t do that.
Instead, you can expect a pretty brilliant promotional exercise that will give you an idea of how the tour was organized and why everyone involved had a great time. That’s not a bad thing either: this is a show for the fans, so why not cater to them?
However, I believe The Eras tour | The final show It’s going to be much more interesting for most of us. The film above (it’s one of my favorite concert movies) was filmed before ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, Swift’s latest LP, was released and before her songs were added to the tour playlist. One of the new Disney+ movies for December includes songs from that album, so it will be fascinating to see how they have been performed on stage.
As Swift posted on Instagram: “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed the filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it ended, and film the final show in its entirety.”
As mentioned, Taylor Swift | The Tour of Eras | The final show arrives on one of the world’s best streaming services on December 12 at 12am PT / 3am ET / 8am GMT. Episodes 1 and 2 The end of an era will be released on the same day, with two more batches of two episodes arriving on December 19 and 26.
