Nothing has just announced that it is being associated with the British institution of Hi-Fi Kef in new audio products that are “the next step to expand the nothing audio trip,” according to Andrew Freshwater, head of marketing of intelligent products at all. New products must “later this year.”
This type of association between electronic products and high -loyalty companies has a long history, and is full of many disappointments and successes.
I was never sure we got so much from LG and Meridian Audio working together, and Belkin’s collaboration with Devialet (possibly not really a high -loyalty company, but still) never produced anything that I liked. But TCL’s work with Onkyo in the television speakers was successful (and the company is now being associated with Bang & Olufsen), while the one linked between Philips TVS and Bowers & Wilkins produced some impressive results.
(The long history of Panasonic to deliver the sound tuned by Technics in its products does not count; it is a trap if you own the high -loyalty company in question).
However, I am optimistic about this collaboration, because nothing has been shown to be much more serious about the good audio quality in the last year or so, and Kef has a history of making headphones that sound very good, but that they cannot compete in intelligent characteristics.
We were surprised how well the sound in nowhere (a) for the price, and we still qualify them as among the best headphones today, with a five -star score.
And the ear of nothing more expensive is full of intelligent characteristics that work well and are a strong value. If nothing is thinking of high -end with new headphones, or perhaps compete with the best headphones on the ear, KEF is a good partner to help ensure that the sound is standard, while nothing provides the characteristics.
It is not that KEF has a terrible record in the intelligent characteristics: the KEF LSX II LT wireless speakers obtained five great stars in our review.
We will be fantastic
I would not be surprised if nothing enters the world of the best Bluetooth speakers, which could be a real success if they maintain the transparent aesthetics of the company, and Kef’s experience with the speakers would obviously be a massive benefit.
Although this is perhaps unlikely for a launch at the end of the year, since companies generally try that Bluetooth speakers are ready for spring/summer in the northern hemisphere.
However, the product of my dreams of this collaboration would be an affordable wireless speaker design that includes the KEF UNI-Q controller. This speaker design places a Tweeter speaker right in the center of the dynamic Woofer Dynamic controller, with the idea that this helps to perfectly align its sound for a unified result with a great dynamic range. It also gives Kef speaker its incredible and simple appearance.
I firmly suspect that Kef would like to keep Uni-q for himself, or that it would be too expensive to implement, or both.
My money is in KEF making a sound adjustment and design tips for the designs of nothing, but that could be enough to have a great impact. Nothing (a) already took Sony from his hanger as the King of Value headphones for us.
Is there anything for Sony’s most premium headphones below, or JBL portable speakers? Or both: the statement of nothing says that there are “several products acoustically developed in progress.”
