- RTX 5060 TI is apparently ready to be ‘launched’ on April 16, a new rumor insists
- Another rumor supports the theory that this is a date for sale for the GPU
- However, it seems that we will have to wait until May for the Vanilla RTX 5060 to reach the shelves.
We have an alleged release date for RTX 5060 TI graphics cards, with the rumor factory that offers a April 16 date.
This comes from LEAKER WXNOD, which intervenes in the rumors scene in X from time to time, and has provided correct information in the past (although, of course, we must remain very cautious here).
5060ti will be launched on April 16 at 9 pm, along with 8GB and 16 GBMarch 22, 2025
As you can see in the previous publication, the statement is that the RTX 5060 TI will “launch” on April 16 at 9 pm (I will return to the writing here, and the delay of the mentioned time, shortly). And as the Vid has insisted for a long time, they tell us that this GPU will come in flavors of 8 GB and 16 GB, and both versions will leave that day in mid -April.
This is aligned with other recent talks about the RTX 5060 TI that said exactly this, that these GPUs are due in mid -April.
Those past rumors also theorize that their younger brother, the Vanilla RTX 5060 (with only 8 GB of VRM), will arrive a month later in mid -May, although WXNOD does not mention that card.
Analysis: near
If the rumor is correct, Nvidia has delayed all these RTX 5060 models a couple of times, perhaps, there were certainly speculation about a March launch in the past and then talk about problems that should be solved with the GPU chips. However, with a more consistent talk pointing to a launch in the near future, it seems that this is now firmly on the cards.
If you ask about the launch of the 9 pm mentioned by the filter, this is probably due to the fact that the embargo time is of an Asian source, because as Videocardz points out, this is aligned with what would normally be expected in that regard.
When WXNOD says ‘launched’, he would normally consider that writing to indicate a date for sale, the graphics cards that hit the shelves, but this could also mean the initial launch (or revelation) of the RTX 5060 TI models in this context.
However, Videcardz also marked that HKEPC, a technological site based in Hong Kong, also shared a filtration (again, add condiments) stating that on April 16 it is in fact the date of sale for the RTX 5060 TI, with an announcement apparently due on April 15 (the RTX 5060 could also be revealed on April 15, but it will not be in stores until it can, or that is the theory).
Whatever the case, these GPUs are apparently close, and what also supports this is Videcardz also discovering the supposed final specifications of RTX 5060 TI. The GPU will allegedly operate with 4,608 CUDA nuclei, a 2407MHz base watch and increase to 2572MHz, with a 180W energy use.
The key question will be: How much stock can Nvidia gather? If the answer turns out not much, then Team Green could be wise to wait a little longer and accumulate more supply before unleashing these graphics cards, which are probably much more popular than previous Blackwell GPUs due to their affordability. Or risk the anger of the unhappy players who cannot buy the GPU they want …
On the other hand, it is likely that Nvidia feels the heat of AMD now, with the new RDNA 4 of the Team Red, which is working very well and recovering the market share of the graphics card for all accounts. Given that, Team Green may well feel the pressure to get your RTX 5060 TI cards on the table, so to speak, sooner rather than later. Currently, with respect to the launch of RX 9060, AMD has only given us a period of time of Q2, so it could be as late as June.
