Nvidia recently introduced its Rubin CPX GPU, an AI Compute processor created for long -term work loads.
It was shown as part of the CPX Vera Rubin NVL144 system and presents 128 GB of GDDR7 memory along with PCIE 6.0.
The company presented it as an engine for inference in fields such as research, development and generation of high definition media.
NVIDIA RTX 6090?
Despite its positioning, the design has caused speculation about whether Rubin CPX could also form the basis of a future Geforce graphics card.

Compared to the GB202 GPU of GeForce RTX 5090, with 192 SMS and 176 ROP, this would offer an increase of around 28 percent in the nuclei. That scale would place any resulting RTX 6090 between the largest consumption GPUs ever built.
Rubin CPX was purely as an artistic rendering instead of a confirmed die, which is not surprising since it is not expected to reach the end of next year.
