NYT Connections Today (game #740) – The answers
The responses to today’s connections, #740 game, are …
- Yellow: Articles in a sewing kit Button, needle, scissors, thread
- Green: Video capture Film, recording, filming, tape
- Blue: wrestling icons, with “The” Hitman, Rock, Snake, Undertaker
- Purple: Wax ___ Museum, paper, poetic, seal
- My qualification: Easy
- My score: Perfect
Look, I will be honest here, although it can bother some people, but I have no professional struggle. I just don’t understand it at all, what is the point? Everything is staged!
Anyway, that did not prevent me from solving the icons of the Blue Pro struggle, with the first “group”, because Undertaker, Hitman and Rock were obvious and Snake seemed a fourth much more likely inclusion that ‘The Museum’ or ‘The Button’. Sorry, Mr. Snake, but I hadn’t heard of you.
Green was easy, even easier because of the fact that the film, the album, the filming and the tape had aligned in a line and, therefore, made them jump directly from the board and my brain. The yellow was even simpler, to the extent that I cannot believe that it would not detect it before, and although it did not need to solve the purple, I think it could have done if I had to do it.
How did you do it today? Avise me in the comments below.

What are NYT connections?
Nyt Connections is one of the several increasingly popular words games made by the New York Times. It challenges him to find groups of four elements that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple generally very difficult.
On the positive side, he technically does not need to solve the end, since he can answer it for an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you some space to breathe.
However, it is a bit more involved than something like Wordle, and there are many opportunities for the game to move you with tricks. For example, be careful with homophones and other words games that could disguise the answers.
It is playable for free through the Nyt Games site in desktop or mobile.
