NYT Connections Today (game #739) – The answers
The responses to today’s connections, game #739 are …
- Yellow: Components of its degree Assistance, final, task, documents
- Green: map application options Destination, route, starting point, stops
- Blue: Classic toys Ball, blocks, cats, train
- Purple: fencing equipment Plates, gloves, jackets, masks
- My qualification: Moderate
- My score: 1 error
I could not live without my SAV-SAV application. I cannot imagine how people managed to get to the right place without them, particularly driving, and particularly driving in a city.
I guess the answer is that sometimes they didn’t; I am old enough to remember many road trips with my parents who were sitting in the back seat while arguing a map and found themselves trapped in a unique sense street next to a city. Happy days.
Perhaps that is why I solved the green, mapping the application options, first, with the destination, the route, the starting point and stops the entire jump from the beginning.
After that, I was a little stuck and I put ‘one’ with purple before correctly identifying the sheets, the gloves, the masks and the jackets were all types of fencing equipment.
The yellow was components of its degree, but that confused me slightly; Is assistance really a part of a qualification? I guess it is in the sense that if you never go to school you will not get a good brand, but it is not as if someone gets a B instead of one because they had a couple of extra days. Maybe this was lost in translation between the United States and the United Kingdom …

What are NYT connections?
Nyt Connections is one of the several increasingly popular words games made by the New York Times. It challenges him to find groups of four elements that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple generally very difficult.
On the positive side, he technically does not need to solve the end, since he can answer it for an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you some space to breathe.
However, it is a bit more involved than something like Wordle, and there are many opportunities for the game to move you with tricks. For example, be careful with homophones and other words games that could disguise the answers.
It is playable for free through the Nyt Games site in desktop or mobile.
