NYT Connections Today (game #744) – The answers
The responses to today’s connections, game #744, are …
- Yellow: strict Firm, rigid, severe, hard
- Green: Botanical coverage Helmet, peel, pod, shell
- Blue: seen in opening credits Cast, director, study, title
- Purple: objects in space 0-, 1, 2 and three-dimensional Line, flat, point, solid
- My qualification: Easy
- My score: 2 errors
Although I made a couple of errors here, this was not a particularly difficult connections puzzle compared to some.
If I did not know what color each group was in, it could not necessarily predict which would be yellow and how purple, none was really difficult.
So how did I make two mistakes? Simply because the answers to yellow, strict, superimposed with some words from other groups. The eventual solutions were firm, rigid, severe and hard, but solid seemed to go with the first couple, while Stern and Hull could also have been part of a boat -based group.
Anyway, I got there at the end.
How did you do it today? Avise me in the comments below.

What are NYT connections?
Nyt Connections is one of the several increasingly popular words games made by the New York Times. It challenges him to find groups of four elements that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and purple generally very difficult.
On the positive side, he technically does not need to solve the end, since he can answer it for an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you some space to breathe.
However, it is a bit more involved than something like Wordle, and there are many opportunities for the game to move you with tricks. For example, be careful with homophones and other words games that could disguise the answers.
It is playable for free through the Nyt Games site in desktop or mobile.
