NYT Connections today (game No. 593): The answers
The answers to the #593 game of connections today are …
- Yellow: contemplate Breeding, muse, reflects, reflects
- Green: Ruda things to do Interrupt, garbage, point out, look
- Blue: Vocation Crafts, Line, Commerce, Labor
- Purple: -_Parche Col, nicotine, rue, soul
- My qualification: Moderate
- My score: 3 errors
I saw the yellow and purple groups very quickly today, but I really had problems with two theoretically easy connections: rude things to do and vocation.
There must be a technique in which, after guessing one thing and receiving the alert “a far …”, you solve it in the next, but I am not sure what it is. I suppose it helps if you have three defined answers and you only look for the fourth, but too often I am not quite sure which are correct and which ones. I spend too much time trying at random instead of stopping to think with logic.
Even so, today I got there at the end, I solved the green group in the last chance and I didn’t have to worry about blue.
How did it go today? Let it know in the comments below.
NYT Connections responses yesterday (Thursday, January 23, game No. 592)
- Green: Results of some excavations Zanja, hole, hole, trench
- Yellow: Types of academic courses Discussion, Laboratory, Conference, Seminar
- Blue: Those who wear robes Boxer, Judge, Monk, Magician
- Purple: ___ above Batter, background, chin, lawyer
What are NYT connections?
NYT Connections is one of the increasingly popular words games created by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four elements that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is easy, yellow a little more difficult, blue is usually quite difficult and purple is usually very difficult.
On the positive side, it is not necessary to solve the final question, since you can answer it through a elimination process. Moreover, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you some margin to breathe.
However, it is a bit more complicated than something like Wordle and there are many opportunities for the game to trip with tricks. For example, be careful with homophones and other words games that could disguise the answers.
You can play for free through the NYT Games site on desktop computers or mobile devices.
