Strands is the last word game of the NYT after the tastes of Wordle, Spelling Bee and Connections, and is very fun. However, it can be difficult, so keep reading for my threads.
Do you want more words based on words? Then, look at my nyt connections today and Quordle Today pages for suggestions and answers for those games, and Marc Wordle Today’s page for the original viral word game.

NYT Strands Today (game #512) – The answers
The responses to today’s threads, game #512, are …
- GROW
- SEED
- MATURE
- HARVEST
- FLOURISH
- SPROUT
- Spangram: garden
- My qualification: Hard
- My score: 1 track
Two notable things about today’s words. First, I don’t think I have seen so many five -letter games that lurk in the grid. Second, a return to the whopping of large long spangrams.
The 15 -letter yellow snake that revealed that the vegetable garden did not make today’s game easier, which is what usually has a long spangram. In fact, it was satisfactorily complicated despite being obvious what we were looking for.
Carry I found quite easily, but a lack of patience and that rich harvest of words did not tempted me to claim a track. This same lack of patience is possibly why I like the idea of having a plant garden, but my talents are to kill plants instead of growing them.
